It all started when I decided to have a tarot card reading by a guy who told me he could see my aura and said that I “desperately needed one.” The advice he gave me was nothing relevant at all. He was a fake but fooled me for a time. They’re all fakes really because the occult knowledge doesn’t come from humans. How could it? It comes directly from the negative spirits these psychics have deliberately or inadvertently invited into themselves, sharing their eyes and senses. That’s why everywhere in the Bible mysticism and sorcery are condemned because they come from evil and can control you to the point of destruction and murder.
This joker told me I had an alien implant in my aura. He was fooled too because he claimed to have all these degrees in psychic matters but belonged to a ‘church’ which he felt justified him and ‘his’ powers. But it gave me enough creeps to ignorantly look through a state psychic directory not knowing yet that I should have just prayed to forget this idiot and his claims. So anyway, I came to find out that one can get an aura cleansing. How new-age! And what a nice way to get it out, I thought, so I had one. Came out feeling just wonderful. Looking back, I can definitely see now that I had a spirit transferred into me from the woman who did it. Unknowingly? Everything looked and felt different. I thought it was me but it was the spirit in me sharing itself as something wonderful. I always wanted to be a healer and I thought wow! I can be a psychic healer and really help people. The Bible says devils can come to you as an angel of light. Then it will reveal itself in the end, which it/they did to me.
So I signed up for a healers’ class a month later, still with this spirit in me, making me feel wonderful and different. I can now see the disguise it used. Meanwhile, I had started meditating daily and had some very strange dizzying sensations and slight hallucinations of things moving and bending while I said my preliminary prayers to God and Jesus. Later, I came to realize these were demonic spirits in me rejecting and reacting to my prayers. I had another aura cleansing a couple weeks later but not for these – I was still worried about that danged implant which was a lie given through the reader. In this one, I could actually see the aura bubbles of entities all around me ‘walking’ towards me. These were evil spirits entering my aura and the lady didn’t even know it, I would hope.
So my class happened on a Saturday. During the class we were told that we all could call on healing masters ‘out there’ that would channel this wonderful healing energy from the universe. What we were really calling on were demons masquerading as healing light spirits. Now I know all healing only comes through Jesus. All else is a fraud or at best, temporary. When I gave permission for one to use my hands, it did more than that. I felt a whole energy enter my body enough to rock me slightly so I had to make sure I had my balance. Now I had many in me – at least. We four students practiced on each other. Who knows what spiritually transmitted ‘diseases’ were being shared. The following Tuesday after coming out of a meditation, I had a very dark feeling come over me. The next day I had to call in sick to work because I was hearing voices in my head. Thoughts that I knew did not come from my own mind. Just like when you think “oh I need milk” there were thoughts I ‘heard’ but I knew I did not think them. They were mocking me and taunting me. After a few hours, I knew I needed to go see a priest. This was a highly spiritual matter and I needed to go ‘home.’ Back to my Church. Back to Jesus.
Later that morning, I sat there with the priest and told him some things. He said he knew of another priest who was an exorcist. Thank goodness. I don’t know what I would have done, possibly committed suicide because of these voices. So the next day I went to see this priest in his Church. He told me why I never should have left the Church and why I should come back. (By the way, I’m back.) I sat there in the front pew with him and a woman who was a member of his parish who stood behind me. The priest read a page in Latin over me holding the Crucifix. He also made the cross on my forehead with Holy oil and he had a Bible in his hand. At some point my hands went up and were frozen into a cursed position. I was aware of the demons in my head wanting to come out. One by one – about fifty to seventy five came screaming at the top of my lungs out of me over the next three and a half hours, all in different but similar ways. This was a deliverance from evil. They call it a deliverance. Jesus, Mother Mary and Archangel Michael were there fighting along with me and the priest. I remember a few specifically totaling about a minute’s worth. The rest my mind has erased. But Holy water, Holy oil, the Bible and the Crucifix were all placed on me causing me to arch my back and contort and then they would horribly scream out of me.
Unfortunately, this deliverance was interrupted and I still had one left in me that stayed for a couple weeks. I went through some very dark times with it. I tried to expel it myself and it finally was removed from me in a very peaceful way. I was at home and said a very sincere loving rosary. I looked out over the land in front of me and was thinking how beautiful it was and how much I loved God. I was leaned back gently in my chair and my head was turned slightly and I could feel it leave me. It was gone. It was removed by something I could feel was heavenly and very loving. It was just an incredibly peaceful feeling as if I was being floated on a cloud.
This episode left me weak for several weeks at first and a few came back to bother me. In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuked them, bound them, commanded them to leave never to return and cast them to the feet of Jesus Christ. Then I ask the Holy Spirit to fill me. I am stronger now and sense when they approach and I do this again. I know that I am a spiritual warrior now. We all are. This will happen to all Christians and non-Christians alike. You have to know when you need to fight. But only with Jesus Christ can you cast them away.
For those of you who do not believe in Jesus, just open your heart. It’s a simple gesture you can do even when no one is looking. He is there and He loves you. And he WILL protect you and save you from evil for eternity – because it is out there. That is His promise. Then, you will know why you need Him and for many more reasons too that you will find. He may not come on a dime or within the second you ask but he will come to you if you sincerely want Him to. He will make Himself known to you if your heart is open. He will not force his love on you but will give it freely and lovingly if you ask. That is why we are given a free choice. Choose Him. Read the New Testament – that’s Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the Gospel all the way through Revelations. Then so read through Revelations and watch the signs of the times – He will come again. And in remembrance of Him I go to Church every Sunday and eat the Holy bread and drink the Holy wine. As He said, “DO this, in remembrance of me.” The Bible is online too. Repent and be baptized!

I am happy that Elsie was freed from these influences, but I wonder if she realizes that she still needs deliverance from the Roman Catholic church?
Remember the words of Jesus: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ ” (Matthew 7:21-23 ESV)

I am glad you sent in that quote from Matthew. It is very relevant to all Christians – whether they are Catholic or not. It applies to all Christians – Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, etc., whatever. It is who does the “will of my Father.” That could be any Christian – Catholic or not. The key is to find out what the “will” is and do it – no matter what faith you have. I did not say there is no healing in other Christian Churches. There is. What I did say is that all (true) healing can only come through Jesus Christ. Do you think that all Catholics do not do “the will of my Father?” Oh, some don’t, I know. Many Christians do not.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
We are not the Judge.
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)

NW Prodigal: Also, here is a quote from a very good Christian website: http://www.fisheaters.com/endtimes.html I suggest that you visit before you condemn the entire Catholic Church or the entirety of any Church:
“Now, has any Pope ever denied that Christ has come in the flesh? Ever? Is the Church that has proclaimed the Gospel for two millennia; the Church that gave us Sacred Scripture; the Church that defined the dogma of the Trinity; the Church that defeated the heresies of Arianism, Pelagianism, Gnosticism, Marcionism, Sabellianism, and Manichæanism; the Church that has produced thousands and thousands of Saints — from St. Francis to Maximillian Kolbe to Thérèse de Lisieux; the Church that is the greatest caregiver of the poor in the world; the Church that has built hospitals, orphanages, schools, and soup kitchens all over this planet; the Church that cares for one out of four of the world’s AIDS patients; the Church that is the single greatest defender of life — all life — in the entire world — is this the Church of Antichrist? Come on! The Church of The Bells of St. Mary and Angels with Dirty Faces — the Antichrist? The Church that proclaims not only did Messiah come in the first century, but that He comes at each and every Catholic Mass — in the flesh (it is Protestants who deny this!) — and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead? People who spew venom at the Catholic Church need to think long and hard about what they are doing, because to slander the Catholic Church is to blaspheme the Body of Christ. If you are one of these people, pray about it, ask yourself why you believe what you believe, and find out for sure whether or not things you believe about the Catholic Church are true, using unbiased resources (including true Catholic ones). Please. ”
Really – read the whole website – there’s much more to learn from in other Biblical aspects. Not trying to offend you (or anyone) here – just setting you straight for your own sake.

Elsie,
Nothing personal, I assure you!
I know many people who have left the Roman Catholic church and who are Catholic. My problems with the RCC are many:
1. The Pope considers himself to be “Christ on earth” does he not? Christ is in heaven on the right hand of God. All power and authority has been given to Him!
2. The fact that a priest, bishop or pope can refuse a person communion indicates that since this is a saving grace, they have power of what Catholics consider the salvation of their souls. Of course, I do not see any scriptural support for any salvic capability in the “host”. Jesus was not implying at any time we eat his physical body or blood. He was using that as a metaphor for the Word of God.
3. The Reformation came about because of the RCC’s internal corruption as abuse of authority, especially in the area of indulgences.
4. While the RCC is admirable in some moral areas, so are Mormons. Both have departed the true faith because of their reliance on works and Purgatory for justification. God chastens and rebukes those He loves, but no amount of penance can make up for even the smallest sin.
5. Mariolatry – the mother of Jesus is venerated as an intercessor and made to be higher than the angels. No where does scripture give her this status. She was simply a vessel chosen by God for His purposes. We are equal with Mary if we do God’s will. Jesus never venerated Mary above her status as a human being and even rebuked her at the wedding feast.
I could go on, but you should know I have zero confidence in the RCC and their faulty theology. I go by what God tells me in His Word, not what any man says, unless it agrees with God’s Word.

To NWProdigal in response:
1. Not literally, obviously, but as a representation because the Church worships Jesus as being on the right hand of God. That is in our Creed recited at daily Mass. All Christians are called to represent Christ.
2. I take the communion issue on a case by case basis but generally from the cases I have read so far I agree with the bishops decision that if someone is openly flaunting or revealing their disobeyance to the fundamental beliefs of the Church, that they exercise not giving that individual communion else they bring judgment on both parties. Refusing communion is in no way saying they are not ‘saved’ nor is the taking communion an act of salvation in and of itself.
3. There is a good discussion on this subject at http://www.catholic.com/thisrock/2003/0301sbs.asp between a priest and an objector. See John 20:19-23 regarding the transferance of authority to forgive sins to his apostles i.e., future bishops and priests. Personally, I genuinely feel the foregiveness and grace after confession. You might try it to see for yourself. Again, its interpretation. We each believe we’re right – can’t get past that.
4. Each man will be judged according to his own works – many Old and New Testament references on this one. Those individuals who truly believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior – who is in the position to judge, criticize or condemn them? Unfortunately, there are corrupt individuals in most every church or organization – we’re humans. That’s what it comes down to doesn’t it – individual works? I hope that we’ll all be saved no matter what religion we choose to worship in. Again, see quote and site in #3.
5. You should read up on Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, and Our Lady of Guadalupe, especially. There is no scientific explanation for Juan Diego’s robe. Up to twenty million (!) people a year arrive to view it for the miracle it is – that should peak anyone’s interest. From personal experience, which can mean nothing to anyone else, I know of her immense power over demons. When her picture was touched to me during my oppression and even during mention of her, there was extreme rejection by the demon(s). I would argue that we are equal with you – free will, again.
From one Christian religion to another its all a matter of interpretation on many points – again, can’t get past that.
You may want to watch very carefully exactly what you say because telling someone they need “deliverance” from a Church that believes in the Divine Trinity of God, Jesus AND THE HOLY SPIRIT is a very serious blasphemy. See Matthew 12:32 i.e., And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that which is to come. And see http://www3.telus.net/trbrooks/unpardonablesin.htm for a further definition.
I have responded to you out of courtesy but because of this initial rude reaction and comment, I feel its best to not respond further. My article’s purpose was not to seek discord or give judgment but to hopefully draw people to Jesus and give the message that the occult is not for Christians and can be very dangerous to anyone practicing any form of it. I think you missed that. Good luck.

Elise,
I am sorry that you perceive my remarks as rude. I try very hard to be courteous, but I also have a responsibility to try and open your eyes to what I believe is an apostate religion. I regret that I offended your sensibilities, but if it helps you to question the vicarious “man of Christ” in Rome, that’s a good thing. I am not judging you, but the corporate religion I believe you are ensnared by – “Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!”
1 Corinthians 6:3
I would advise you not put too much stock, faith-wise, in signs and wonders which can also be used to deceive.
Jesus said,
“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
and
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:23-24

Mary
Elise,
I too was roman catholic and believed that I was hurrassed by a demon in my senior year of high school. I believe I had a deomic encounter one night that stayed with me for many months and nearly took my life. I turned to the catholic church but could not find truth- the truth of God’s word- Salvation through grace alone. Salvation by the atoning work of Christ on the cross. I remained lost in my sins and was drowning in the miry clay that is catholicism. I was set free from this demon when someone in a presbyterian church cast it out and my faith became grounded in Jesus based on the word of God. I had to coninually engage in spiritual warfare for the next year off and on. But it was through the word of God and His Holy Spirit that gave witness to my spirit that I had become His child that freed me…..not the catholic religion.
My heart aches for you because I believe that many catholic priests who engage in exorcisms understand the spiritual world and understand the authority that comes in the name of Jesus Christ, and for that I am very thankful – though they were not able to help me.
I don’t want to confuse you. But I wish you would listen to what NWProdigal is saying. No one is ganging up on you. We just would like you to consider what is being said here.
Martin Luther was right. The reformation was a great thing of God. Please consider SOLA SCRIPTURA- the scriptures alone as authority. Jesus is the living word of God. The 66 books of the Bible are the inspired word of God. That doesn’t include the apocrypha.I hope you continue to dialogue with us.

But Elise,
the context of that scripture you used was attributing a miracle of God that Jesus had performed as coming from satan. We are specifically talking about teaching-doctrine of the Roman catholic church.

Thanks Mary for your support.
We have to love Roman Catholics enough to tell them the truth! I know many people who have come out of the RCC and are truly free in Christ!

Mary
It was really hard for me in my late teenage years to consider that the catholic church was not teaching the truth-really, really hard and lonely.
I feel for Elise. I hope she reads and considers what you said. It took me three very exhausting years to break with the catholics. But deep down there was that small still conviction to trust in His word. And the freedom that comes makes it all worth it. You are right, we have to love enough to tell them the truth. I am sure glad someone loved me enough to tell me the truth and point me in the right direction- the Bible.

I too pray for Elsie as I know that she is deceived about the Catholic Church. My wife came out of it some years ago and was the first in her family which had been in it for generations.
Elsie I would recommend the book or DVD by Dave Hunt ” A Woman rides the Beast”. This is a great eye opener as Dave uses the Word of Revelation to prove who the Whore of Babylon really is.
I would also recommend ” The Two Babylons” by Hissop. A classic tracing the Catholic Church from it’s roots.
Dr Alan Cairns has several sermon audios on line at sermonaudio.com
Teachings on the blaspheme of the mass, pergatory the invention of the Pope, Transubstantiation, indulgances etc.
We will continue to love and pray for Elsie.

I just re read Elsie’s previous entry and she says that she hopes that we will be saved no matter which religion we belong to. There is one huge problem with that statement.
Christ is the “Way,The Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him”. John 14:6.
John 14:36 says” He who believes in the Son has Eternal Life; and he who does not believe in the Son shall not see life. but the wrath of God abides on him.”
The Catholic Church does not teach salvation by faith alone. Their salvation is works based. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches that it is a FREE Gift, not by works lest any should boast.
Catholics have no guarantee of Eternal Life in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ. Most will have to serve time in pergatory until their relatives pay their way out with indulgences of special masses. All money for the coffers of Rome.
The theif on the Cross was instantly in Heaven with Christ when he died. No masses, no baptism, no rites, no rituals, no pergatory.
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His Blood that washes us clean, praise Him for His death so we might have life, and life Eternal.
I know that the instant my last breath is drawn I WILL be in His Presence, I even I, the chief of all sinners.

I have been reading. Here is a song I wrote about my testimony. It speaks for it’self.
And my message to young people:
