Burning Man’ Draws 68,000 To America’s Largest Pagan Cult Gathering

The adherents to this religion are appropriately called “burners”, and the Burning Man Pagan Festival began like this:
“Burning Man stems from a small group of free-spirited artists in the San Francisco area who got together to burn a wooden effigy on the beach in 1986; and the little beach event has grown to an annual gathering of nearly 70,000 attendees and has moved to the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, where hippies, yuppies and wannabe bohemians of every type meet up and enjoy a week of crazy self-expression, self-reliance and communal craziness.” source – Explorer News
Yesterday, I met with a physical therapist because of nagging issues with my neck after an automobile collision back in October 2010. He asked why I did not get massages from my chiropractor’s massage therapist. I said I did not want to use her because she has a degree in Reiki and in the past attempted to use a Reiki procedure on me.
He laughed. He said it was merely deep tissue massage. This PT is so wrong and it is alarming that he did not know the spiritual aspects connected with Reiki. Any process that involves “spirit guides” should sound alarms and raise red flags. I will be spending 8 sessions with him, so I am arming myself with truth and desiring the chance for a witness of Jesus Christ.

REIKI: HEALING WITH THE FORCE

A brochure advertising Reiki, an energy healing technique, translates the word “Reiki” as “guided Universal Life Force Energy,” (Ana Jones, certified Reiki Master-Teacher, Professional Intuitive, and Interfaith Minister, in her flyer, Reiki, Natural Healing). Jones further asserts that “Reiki Masters are spreading Reiki throughout the world…bringing Reiki into private practice, centers, hospices, clinics, and even some hospitals.” This indeed is the case.
Background
Just what is Reiki and where did it come from? Reiki (ray`-kee) is a system of energy healing based on the theory that a universal healing energy or life force permeates and infuses the universe, and that this energy can be channeled into someone so that their own life force is enhanced (Barbara Loecher, Sara Altshul O’Donnell, and the Editors of Prevention Health Books, Women’s Choices in Natural Healing [Emmaus, PA: Rodale Press, Inc., 1998], 268).
Reiki’s recent origins are in the 19th century when Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk and teacher in Kyoto, Japan, searched for an understanding of healing. Some accounts claim Usui was a Christian minister searching for how Jesus healed, but apparently this account was to make Reiki more palatable to Christians in the U.S. Accounts vary on the origins of Reiki. Usui read the Buddhist sutras (religious writings) in their original languages, and found material on healing and what seemed to him a way to activate its power. After a 21-day fast and retreat, “he welcomed the energy into himself,” the energy being what Usui thought was the healing power (J. Gordon Melton, New Age Encyclopedia [Detroit: Gale Research Inc., 1990], 382). Usui also came up with five principles of ethical practice: being grateful for blessings, not being angry, not worrying, working honestly, and being kind to one’s neighbor and all living things (Ibid).
Usui drew disciples of his teachings, and later Usui’s succession was passed on to Chijuro Hayashi (Ibid). In the 1930’s, a dying Japanese-American, Hawayo Takato, returned to Japan and encountered Reiki practitioners whom, it is claimed, were able to heal her. She became the first woman Reiki master and first American Reiki master, and it is she who initiated Reiki training in the United States by touring the country in the 1970’s (Ibid, 383). Barbara Weber Ray, in Atlanta, Georgia, became a teacher of the methods of initiating other Reiki masters in 1978; and Ray founded the American Reiki Association, later called The Radiance Technique Association International (Ibid). Reiki is also known as the Usui Shiko Ryoho System of Healing (Ibid, 382).
Philosophy and Practice
Reiki theory holds that practitioners can channel the universal life force as a healing energy into the client’s body in order to “balance and enhance the flow of vital energy,” (Loecher, 268). The client/patient lies on a table as the Reiki practitioner gently touches him/her. The practitioner places their palms on major organs and glands, and on the areas where the chakras are located. [The chakras are part of Hindu belief that there are seven chakras, centers of psychic and spiritual energy, going from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Certain Hindu teachings claim that the kundalini, an energy force coiled snakelike in the base chakra, needs to rise to the topmost chakra as part of the spiritual enlightenment process.]
As the Reiki practitioner holds his/her hands over various areas for several minutes, it is believed that the client/patient is drawing in whatever energy is needed from the universe, using the Reiki healer as the channel (Ibid). The Reiki energy “enters the top of the practitioner’s head and exits through the hands,” after passing through the patient (William Collinge, M.P.H., PH.D., The American Holistic Health Association Complete Guide to Alternative Medicine [NY, NY: Warner Books, 1996], 285). The client’s body has an innate intelligence or inner wisdom which knows where to apply the healing force (per conversation with a Reiki healer, Festival of Lights Expo, Falls Church, VA, April, 2000).
To practice Reiki, one must be “attuned” through a particular ritual in which the teacher activates the universal energy within the student (Loecher, 268; Melton, 383). There are three degrees of Reiki; the first degree requires four attunements, after which the student “can transmit healing energy by touching anything alive,” (Loecher, 269). Being initiated into the second degree requires the use of “sacred symbols” and teaches the student how to transmit energy over distance, as well as teaching the art of mental/emotional healing (Ibid). According to Mary Ruth Van Landingham, Reiki Master Teacher, when using the symbols taught in the second degree, one is “actually changing the holographic memory within the matrix or soul of a person,” (“Terra Christa” Newsletter, Winter 2001 Workshop Schedule, Vienna, VA). To become a Reiki master/teacher, initiation into the 3rd degree is essential (Ibid; Melton, 383).

I was once deceived by a false anointing or I should say a demon. I was accepting the information being “downloaded” to me as true and from God. This was actually an exciting and powerful time for me and I would weep with joy at the “words” I was receiving. How special I thought I was that God would use me in this way. Even though I thought I was humble, pride crept in. You see Satan is very tricky but he can be revealed through God’s truth and written Word in the Bible.
When a prophecy I was given did not come to pass I was led to Deuteronomy 18:22. “If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.”
I then knew something was wrong but I had a hard time giving up my special status. Then I read 1 Samuel 15:23. “For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry…”
I then repented of allowing myself to be used by Satan to repeat his words, of divination, and finally of idolatry. BUT..I was still being oppressed with night manifestations and odd experiences. Then I read Acts 19:19. “A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly.”
I was still clinging to the handwritten notes I had kept for over three years of visions, dreams, and words. I gathered them up and burnt them the next day. I was finally free and the demonic spirit left me alone. This is true repentance, a total turning away from the things that are not of God…and to God only and turning away from sin to living for the Lord in obedience to His Word.
The following account reminded of how beguiling the spirit was and how pleasant it all started. We are warned that Satan will come as an angel of light. “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” 2 Cor 11:14.

The following is the testimony of Marie-Ange Desrosiers of Quebec in which she describes the powerful occultic experience that she had at a Catholic mass following her conversion to the grace of Jesus Christ. She gave this testimony to me in an e-mail dated November 15, 2008, and I am using it with her permission.
“I was raised in a very rigid catholic religion in the 1940-1950 and I learned only about a God of wrath. At the age of twenty, I quit the Catholic Church because I was unable to observe all their laws. For the next 25 years, I forgot about God. But God never forgot me. Through a long, circuitous and painful road, he led me back to Him, the real God. I am a recent convert to the Baptist faith. I was baptized in September and will now be part of a very small French Baptist church in Canada. What I want to tell you is about your writings on mysticism. You can take the girl out of the Catholic Church, but it is very hard to take the church out of the girl. Until I started reading your books, I never really re-examined what I was taught with my mother’s milk. I did not like the Catholic Church but I could not tell you what was wrong with it. To make a long story short, on August the 9th, 2008, I went to a family wedding in a catholic church. Of course, I remained in my pew and did not partake of Communion because I do not believe in it. But the emotional fervor around me was so strong as to become palpable. And all of a sudden, I was enveloped in a warm sort of embrace that was so powerful and so marvelously pleasant that I was amazed. What is happening? I thought. It got stronger and stronger, and more and more physically enjoyable. My hands, feet, mouth, my whole face started to tingle very pleasurably. I was immensely drawn into that warm, loving, physical feeling. Then I heard myself whisper:
Too bad it is not true, it is so pleasant. And then, I came back forcefully to myself and said NO! NO! And the thing left me. I did not know what it was but I had a strong feeling it was wrong. Since then, I happened to read a book by Roger Oakland, ‘The Eucharistic Jesus,’ where he speaks quite clearly of the end-times delusion of experiential spirituality mentioned in the Bible. And even after it left me, I could feel and almost see that thing around other people in the church who had swallowed their ‘wafer god.’ It is going to be very hard for people who undergo this experience repeatedly to believe it does not come from God. And only the Holy Spirit protecting me allowed me to refuse it. The Lord has protected me all my life, even when I did not belong to Him yet. But my poor, poor family. How I weep for them! And I pray daily that the Lord opens their mind and their heart to His word. But this ‘thing’ is so, so seducing. It will take a mighty wind of the Lord to tear it away from my family. By the way, the Catholic Church calls it an anointing of the Lord. I call it the embrace of Satan. Pray for us, please, I will also pray for you.”
The Mass is a mystical powerhouse.

According to his official A.A. biography, Bill Wilson considered that “spiritistic matters were no mere parlor game. It’s not clear when he first became interested in extrasensory phenomena; the field was something that Dr. Bob and Anne Smith were also deeply involved with. Whether or not Bill initially became interested through them, there are references to séances and other psychic events in the letters Bill wrote to [wife] Lois during that first Akron summer with the Smiths, in 1935.” (PASS IT ON, pg.275) (bold mine)
A Commentary on The Harbinger: A Warning About The Harbinger

A book called The Harbinger is fast becoming a lightning rod issue among evangelical Christians, with many Christians saying it is exactly what America needs right now to “wake up” and repent, and come back to biblical truth, but other Christians documenting that Cahn quotes liberally from extra-biblical and mystical sources for his book. The cover of Cahn’s book (right) boldly claims that The Harbinger is an “Ancient Mystery that Holds the Secret of America’s Future.”
Could this be true? Could it be that there are hidden truths that need to be decoded and unveiled to Christians today? And if so, for what purpose? Cahn seems to think so, and has written a book which proclaims just that. The Harbinger is a fiction book, and features a character known as The Prophet who is slowly giving seals to one of the main characters. These seals contain messages (nine in all) which are meant to be put together as clues in a mystery, so that a final, distinct message will emerge and be revealed. This message, once decoded, is intimated to hold the secret to bringing America back to its moral center and becoming once again a Godly nation.
I have many concerns about this book, and so I will address them one at a time.
Gnosticism
There is an exchange between two of the characters in The Harbinger who are discussing a secret message from a mysterious character (“The Prophet”) in the book:
“It’s the appointed time, but not for an ancient nation. It’s time for the word to be given…..for the mystery to be revealed…..for the message to go forth. It’s the appointed time⎯but not for an ancient nation.” (The Harbinger, p 13)
Friends, anytime you see language like this, and like the language below (also from The Harbinger)…..
¡ “ancient mystery hidden for thousands of years……but now revealed”
¡ a “mystery” that holds a “secret” to our future
¡ “clues” needed to “unlock” a mystery
¡ “messages” that need to be “unveiled”
……what you are dealing with is an ancient heresy called Gnosticism.
Gnosticism is a very old heresy that teaches that the truth has to be decoded, uncovered, unlocked, unveiled, discovered.
Secret Knowledge = Gnosticism
Gnosticism is a heresy because, according to God, we are given all that we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3) in God’s word. We don’t need to decode secret mysteries, unravel sealed up messages, decipher clues, or pull back the veil on hidden things. All that we need, all that God wants us to know, is contained in the Bible. Now, I will grant that in the New Testament, Paul does talk about the mystery of Gentiles and Jews being united together in a common church and common faith (something that could have scarcely been imagined in Old Testament times). There is also the mystery of Jesus Christ, who was dimly glimpsed through types and shadows in the Old Testament, but Who was gloriously revealed in his fullness as our Savior in the New Testament. But these are mysteries which are laid open for all to see and know and understand and respond to, and not clues on a Mysterious Journey to Somewhere (which is really the more western understanding of the word “mystery”).
“I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.”(Isaiah 45:19)
As a former Gnostic, I found great comfort as a born again Christian in understanding that all that God truly wants me to know He has plainly revealed in his Word. I spent more than a decade of my life as a New Ager/Gnostic going from teaching to teaching to teaching. I lost track of how many conferences I went to, books I purchased, teachers and gurus that I sought out, all in an effort to find truth. My quest for truth was sincere, but truth proved to be surprisingly elusive to attain. By the time God saved me, I was weary. I was worn out. I didn’t have it in me to go after One More Thing. All I could think of at the end was that I wanted rest, just a little bit of rest, from all my fruitless searching. The Lord, in his infinite mercy, gave me rest by rescuing me out of the mire of man-made wisdom and giving me the elegant simplicity of his Word. There is such a lovely purity and clarity in knowing that I can rest securely in the knowledge that all that God wants me to know I can find in the Bible.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Fiction? or Fiction Masquerading Itself as Fact?
Much like William P. Young’s troublesome book The Shack, The Harbinger also has a fictional character who is teaching things that are contrary to Scripture, but which the author wants to claim as truth. Of course, when pressed on the biblical problems with the teachings, both Young and Cahn have resorted to saying, But it’s only a fictional character! The problem with this is that Young and Cahn both personally believe what they have written, and are seeking to teach a wide audience of readers what they believe to be true, while hiding behind the label “Fiction.”
The Truth About America’s Future
The truth about America’s future (and the future of all nations, for that matter), is that God holds the future in His hands. Yes, we should pray, we are commanded and exhorted to pray, but ultimately, we know that our sovereign Lord will work all things together for the good of those who love him and for HIS own purposes (Romans 8:28). And sometimes, in God’s sovereign wisdom, this means that He will allow countries to fall, and nations to topple. Even, that is, nations that He has used in a mighty way to proclaim his truth to the world. I certainly do not desire to see America fall, and I pray for the leaders of this country, but at the same time, we know from the Bible that God has often used times of distress and difficulty as a means of chastening and disciplining his people.
“The kingfs heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1)
When I was a fairly new Christian, I came across a resource called James Ussher’s Chronological Chart of History that helped steady my thinking in this regard. James Ussher was a 17th century Anglican bishop who painstakingly charted out the bloodline from Adam and Eve to Jesus. His chart features the Biblical timeline going across the top and the corresponding world history underneath it. It’s so amazing to look at this chart, and see God’s hand sovereignly guiding all of human history. Below the scarlet thread of Jesus’s bloodline, you see nations and kings rise and fall, rise and fall, but above it all, God’s bloodline marches steadily onward toward the fulfillment of his purposes.
As Americans, we tend to think that we are so mighty, the greatest nation on earth. Well, when you look at Ussher’s timeline, you realize that ALL these kingdoms once had their day in the sun, but where are they now? Egypt was once the mightiest nation in the world, known for the architectural magnificence of their awe-inspiring pyramids, and for taming the Nile River. Babylon, known for their acclaimed Hanging Gardens, and brilliant military campaigns led by Nebuchadnezzar. Rome, their amazing Roman roads and contributions to education and government. Where are they now? Some of them are still around, but do they rule the world? Looking at this chart is truly humbling, and it brings the deeper realization that all that is here will be one day be burned up and destroyed, when God himself creates a new heavens and a new earth. No government that exists here on earth – not even America – will be reigning in that Kingdom to come. But this is not bad news, this is glorious, good news, that should gladden the heart of all who truly love God and bend the knee to his sovereign will and purposes.
As far as America goes, all people everywhere are commanded to repent and believe on Christ for the forgiveness of sins, but that is not the basic message of this book. This book teaches that there is a secret message encoded in the Bible that needs to be decoded to be understood, and if we will only buy this book and decode this message, then we can bring America back. But as I wrote above, this is the heresy of Gnosticism. Our country does not need a “special” Gnostic teaching to tell us what we already know about repentance, salvation and the forgiveness of sins. In fact, I tend to agree with John MacArthur (When God Abandons A Nation), that when we look around us, we don’t need to wonder, will we be judged? because we are already under judgment. First came the sexual revolution of the 60s/70s/80s (Romans 1:24), then came the homosexual revolution (Romans 1:26-27), and next comes the debased mind (Romans 1:28). We are following the trajectory laid out in Romans 1, and where we are indicates not a country that is basically good and can come back to its moral center, but a country that has been given over to its depravity. So we can churn out book after book about “taking back America” and “reclaiming America” (including Jonathan Cahn’s The Harbinger), but in my opinion, America is past the tipping point. True Bible-believing Christians are in the minority in this country, and a minority is never going to reclaim a culture. We need to proclaim the gospel and snatch the few that we can from the flames.

Jonathan Cahn Goes on Glenn Beck’s Show To Discuss How To “Save A Nation”
Harbinger author Jonathan Cahn joined Mormon Glenn Beck for two segments of Beck’s June 26/June 27 programs, and said the following things about The Harbinger:
“The Harbinger is a two and a half thousand year mystery that lies behind everything.”
“The message of The Harbinger is not to condemn, it’s to wake up and it’s to call back. This is I believe coming out now for a reason, it’s to save a nation, and to turn back.”
“We can’t maintain our blessings without God…..America is blessed as much as America follows God. If America does not follow God, you cannot expect the smiles of heaven.”
Once again, a Gnostic teaching about a “mystery” that has to be decoded, and a call for America to turn back to God. But, why is Jonathan Cahn, who is a Christian pastor, linking with a Mormon (Glenn Beck) in order to proclaim his message? Christians and Mormons do not worship the same God, and for Cahn to appear with Mormon Glenn Beck and for the two to discuss God and America turning back to God can only serve to send a very confusing message to the world about who “God” is.
Conclusion
Does The Harbinger hold clues to helping America find her way back God? In my view, Jonathan Cahn’s book is “hooking” those Christians in America who are burdened over the rising tide of immorality in our country, and who desire for America to repent and come back to the Lord. This is not a wrong or wicked desire…..it’s just that, it might not play out that way, in God’s sovereign plan. And this desire can become problematic, especially when Christians begin linking with non-Christians (as Jonathan Cahn did with Mormon Glenn Beck) in an effort to force those desires to come to fruition.
“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)

The Early Years
In this essay we will examine the life and work of Edgar Cayce, often called “the sleeping prophet.” Many considered him to be a prophet and healer very popular in the sixties and seventies. Today his influence is stronger than ever as he helped pave the way for the popularity of “channeling.”
Edgar Cayce was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877. His family was ordinary in most ways, except for a current of demonic dabbling and occultism among the males. His grandfather was a water witch and unerringly accurate in dousing for water with the forked limbs of a witch hazel tree. Many of his acquaintances held that he was also able to make tables and brooms “dance.” Edgar’s father was an unwitting Pied Piper of snakes. Apparently snakes loved him and followed him around and even wrapped their bodies around his hat brim if he put his hat down while working in the fields. It unnerved him so much that he moved from the farm into the city and eventually became a justice of the peace.
Edgar Cayce’s childhood was very unique. As a boy he exhibited an occultic tendency to see and hear things that others didn’t see. For example, he had “little playmates” who disappeared when others came around. They always grew with him and stayed his size, but after the death of a neighbor girl who could also see them, they seemed smaller. He realized that he was growing up and would soon lose their companionship.
As a young boy Edgar attended the Christian church and wanted to be a minister. He resolved to read the Bible through once for each year of his life. By age 13 he was working on his thirteenth reading in his favorite place, a playhouse by a creek in the woods, when he heard a humming sound. A decepção Toronto
Pastor por um ex-Toronto Vineyard
Levei nove anos para realmente entrar para o lugar onde eu ia escrever esta história. Parte da razão foi porque eu não estava totalmente convencido de que é apropriado falar-se contra as fraquezas do corpo de Cristo publicamente. Outra razão é porque ele tem tido anos de alma procurando tornar-se convencido de que o que aconteceu no aeroporto de Toronto Igreja era realmente tão ruim ou pelo menos mais mal do que bem!
Para obter o número de anos passados eu chamei-lhe uma faca de dois gumes. Eu acho que James A. Beverly o chamou isso em seu livro Laughter Santo ea Bênção de Toronto 1994. Hoje eu chamaria isso de uma maldição mista concluindo que qualquer bem individual que veio com essa experiência está longe superado por muito mal e do engano satânico. Acho que o que nela tem sido o meu dilema. Eu tentei viver a minha vida no temor do Senhor e Jesus disse-nos que o pecado imperdoável foi a blasfêmia contra o Espírito Santo. Atribuir a Satanás o que era na verdade uma obra de Deus. Se pressionado sobre se ou não a bênção de Toronto é tudo o que Deus ou Diabo todos os que eu ainda será hedgy, mas estou convencido de que Satanás usou esta experiência para cegar as pessoas para as doutrinas históricas de Deus, para produzir frutos dignos de arrependimento, a falta de teste e discernir os espíritos e não para testar profecia.
Após três anos de estar no meio da bênção de Toronto nossa assembléia Vineyard em Scarborough (East Toronto) apenas sobre auto-destruindo. Nós devorado um ao outro, com fofocas, traições, divisões, seitas etc críticas Após três anos de ‘imersão’, rezando para as pessoas, agitação, rolando, rindo, rugindo, ministrando no TACF em sua equipe de oração, liderando o louvor em TACF, pregando no TACF, basicamente vivendo no TACF éramos os cristãos mais carnal, imaturo e enganado que eu conheço. Lembro-me de dizer ao meu amigo e pastor sênior da Igreja Vineyard em Scarborough, em 1997, que, desde a bênção de Toronto chegou temos apenas sobre caído em pedaços! Ele concordou!
Minha experiência tem sido que a manifestação dos dons espirituais mencionados na 1 Coríntios 12 era muito mais comum em nossa montagem, antes de Janeiro de 1994 (quando a bênção de Toronto começou.) Do que durante este período de visitação Espírito Santo suposto.
Durante 1992-1993, quando orando por pessoas que iriam experimentar o que eu acredito era genuína profecia, libertação e muita graça e misericórdia do Senhor. Após a bênção de Toronto começou, o tempo todo ministério mudou, as orações foram apenas “Senhor Mais Mais”, os gritos de ‘Fire’ do jerky agitação do corpo com o “ooh ooh ooh WOOOAAH ‘oração. (Eu não te miúdo!)
Em 20 janeiro de 1994 cerca de 15 pessoas de nossa igreja viajaram até Toronto Airport Vineyard, a fim de ouvir Randy Clark, pastor da Vineyard EUA. John Arnott tinha chamado o nosso pastor sênior para nos convidar. Ele comunicou que Randy tinha sido para as reuniões de Rodney Howard Browne e que o material tinha estourou em sua igreja nas semanas seguintes. John esperava que algo possa sair com a gente também. Estávamos muito felizes de viajar mais. Nós éramos uma igreja fora do Aeroporto de Toronto e começamos em 1992. Naqueles dias havia três Igrejas Vineyard em Toronto. Uma igreja Down Town, Scarborough igreja vinha a leste ea Igreja do Aeroporto. Nós éramos uma grande família feliz. Porque estávamos em número reduzido fizemos reuniões especiais, etc conferências, juntos.
O ano antes que a maioria das nossas equipes de liderança unidos e tinham dirigido para a Nicarágua para uma viagem de missões de curto prazo. Tivemos genuíno amor e comunhão uns com os outros. Desde que deixou as igrejas Vineyard li um pouco de análise da crítica.
Alguns fazem-se que a bênção de Toronto era uma grande conspiração para levar o corpo de Cristo em heresia. Heresia e apostasia Suspeito pode muito bem ser o resultado, mas nenhum desses destinos foram intencionais. Estou sinceramente convencido de que os líderes das igrejas Vineyard são genuínos cristãos nascidos de novo que amam o Senhor, mas caíram em engano. Eles não amaram o Senhor o suficiente para guardar os Seus mandamentos. Eles falharam em obedecer as escrituras e foram desviados por nosso anseio por algo maior e mais brilhante e mais emocionante e dinâmico. Eu sou culpado por este pecado também. Tenho pregado a renovação na Coréia, no Reino Unido, EUA e aqui no Canadá. Estou verdadeiramente arrependido e por escrito essa história Peço-lhe a noiva eo corpo de Cristo que me perdoe. Especialmente os cristãos pentecostais / carismáticos entre vocês, pois vocês são minha família teológica. Eu sou um cristão evangélico, eu sempre tenho sido, mas eu não acredito na cessação dos dons espirituais, no final da era apostólica. Eu acredito que era minhas raízes evangélicas (minha família são batistas e eu nasci de novo na Igreja Presbiteriana.) Que começou a abrir meus olhos para os problemas com a renovação chamados.
À vista hind eu olho para trás e pensar como eu poderia ter sido tão cego? Eu ri de pessoas que agem como cães e fingindo urinar nas colunas do edifício TACF. Eu vi as pessoas fingem ser animais, cascas, rugido, cluck, fingir voar como se tivessem asas, perpetuamente ato bêbado e cantar canções silly. Como eu pensei que nada disso era do Espírito Santo de Deus me espanta hoje em dia. Era alto irreverente e blasfemo ao Deus Santo da Bíblia. Acho que na minha mente eu raciocinei que, enquanto eles não ensinam alguma coisa em violação direta às Escrituras então era o que chamamos de exótico. Esta é uma palavra da moda para as manifestações que não poderia ser justificada de uma perspectiva bíblica. Eu fui ensinado do púlpito que tinha duas opções. A ordem do viveiro cheio de vida e desarrumado ou a ordem do cemitério, muito ordeiro, mas morto!
Como um pastor jovem imaturo que eu queria a vida com bagunça. Não consegui lembrar de que Deus quer que nos tornemos maduros e crescer nele. Fiquei desconcertado com as palavras proféticas que veio especialmente um por Carol Arnott, no qual ela teve sua experiência noiva, onde ela foi levada à presença de Jesus e disse que o amor que ela experimentou foi ainda melhor do que sexo! Fiquei chocado em meu espírito e do pensamento como se pode comparar o amor de Deus com o sexo? Quando nós suspeitamos que os demônios estavam funcionando motim em nossos serviços John Arnott ensinava que devemos pedir que eles estão indo ou vindo. Se eles estão saindo, então, que é ok! John defendia o caos afirmando que não devemos ter medo de ser enganado, se pedimos ao Espírito Santo para vir e encher-nos então como Satanás poderia vir e enganar-nos? Isto faria com que Satanás muito forte e Deus muito fraco! Ele disse que precisávamos ter mais fé num Deus grande para nos proteger do que em um Big diabo para nos enganar. Isto soou muito convincente, mas era totalmente contrário às escrituras de Jesus, Paulo e Pedro e João nos alertar sobre o poder dos espíritos enganadores e especialmente nos últimos dias. Outra vez, não o amor de Deus o suficiente para obedecer à Sua Palavra eo resultado foi que nós nos abrimos para espíritos mentirosos. Que Deus tenha misericórdia de nós!
Finalmente a ficha caiu para mim como eu estava rolando uma noite “bêbado no Espírito”, como diríamos. Eu comecei a cantar e como eu rolava no chão da rima de berçário “Mary tinha um cordeirinho sua lã era branca como a neve.” Veio à mente. Eu cantei isso em um espírito zombeteiro e instantaneamente meu coração me disseram que era um demônio. Imediatamente me arrependi e estava em choque total. Como poderia um demônio entrar em mim? Será que eu não o amor de Deus? Eu não era zeloso pelas coisas de Deus? Eu não estava louco por Jesus? Eu sabia que um espírito imundo acabara de se manifesta através de mim e eu era culpado de grande pecado. Depois dessa experiência eu fiquei longe do TACF. Eu não voltei mais lá. Eu não possuía a convicção de denunciar toda a experiência, mas pensei que não ter onde pastor da Bênção bem o suficiente.
Mesmo depois que eu parei de ir até TACF, tive de pastor do seu fruto. Um exemplo foi quando alguns de nosso povo voltou de uma reunião lá perguntando-nos se tínhamos todos receberam a espada dourada do Senhor? Perguntei-lhes o que eles estavam falando sobre o pensamento de que era alguma referência profética para as Sagradas Escrituras, mas eles disseram: ‘não, não é a Bíblia, é uma espada de ouro invisível que somente os puros realmente pode receber. Se for tomado de forma injusta, em seguida, o Senhor iria matá-lo. Mas se você for santo o suficiente para recebê-lo, então você pode empunhar a espada e vai curar AIDS, câncer, etc e trazer a salvação. Como uma espada foi detido esta fingindo ter esta espada invisível em sua mão e apontando para atacar as pessoas com ela quando em oração! Eu pensei que mesmo no engano nessa época que o TACF havia se tornado escaninhos Looney! Este foi supostamente recebeu pela primeira vez pela Carol Arnott e depois dada aos santos o suficiente para recebê-lo!
Outra coisa foi a obturações de ouro nos dentes. Tínhamos pessoas na nossa assembleia peeping baixo uns dos outros gargantas procurando os dentes de ouro que Deus tinha colocado lá para mostrar o quanto ele os amava! Em todo o meu tempo lá, eu só ouvi uma mensagem sobre o arrependimento dada por um alto-falante visitantes de Hong Kong chamado Jackie Pullinger. Foi mais como um balão de chumbo. Nós não estávamos lá para se arrepender, nós estávamos lá para a festa no Senhor! Depois de um ano para a bênção falei em uma reunião pastores e disse: ‘caras que têm abalado, agitado, rolou, chorou e riu comprou a camiseta. Mas não temos avivamento, nem salvação, nenhum fruto e nenhum evangelismo aumentado de modo que é o negócio “Fiquei profundamente repreendeu – quem era eu para esperar para ver frutos quando o Senhor estava curando seu povo quebrado? Nós tínhamos sido tempo suficiente legalista e Deus estava gastando este tempo restaurando seus feridos e libertando-nos do legalismo foi-me dito para não empurrar o Senhor ea colheita viria no seu tempo. ”
Eu sabia que isso estava errado, porque o Senhor nos mandou ir em toda a terra e fazei discípulos! Não, que todos devem tirar um ano sabático para quem sabe quanto tempo, enquanto Deus faz alguma coisa nova e estranha! Em última análise, deixei sobre algo tão polêmico como a ordenação de mulheres. Pessoalmente, eu acredito que da escritura que as mulheres não devem ser pastores / anciãos numa assembléia local. Eu posso estar errado sobre isso e há muito debate na Igreja hoje, mas essa é a minha convicção e nas igrejas Vineyard estavam ordenando todas as esposas de pastores para co pastor com eles. Eu sou, certamente, para as mulheres no ministério, mas acredito que o papel Elder / pastor em uma assembléia local foi reservado aos homens. Eu não escrevi as escrituras, mas se Deus quiser terei a graça a partir de agora a obedecê-la.
Portanto, há a minha história. Eu poderia ir sobre e documentar o excesso muito, loucura, pecado e ensino reinado dos últimos dias que se manifestam a partir do final proféticas deste Bênção, mas outros já fizeram isso. Cantamos sobre o exército de Joel eo avivamento alma bilhões como se fosse um dos Dez Mandamentos, e como sempre foi ao virar da esquina. No próximo mês, no próximo ano etc Jesus disse que quando o filho do homem volta encontrará fé sobre a terra? E se ele não retornar quando ele faz nenhuma carne se salvaria, mas por causa dos eleitos que ele venha. Este é um grito distante da Dominionismo que está sendo ensinado por todo o movimento de guerra vinha / profético / espiritual. Eu honestamente acho que eles pensam que vão dominar o mundo inteiro! Enquanto no Vineyard abracei um verso a vida do apóstolo Paulo a frase não vão além do que está escrito!
Para terminar quero apenas pedir desculpas pelos danos, que eu pessoalmente tenho feito ensinando coisas que não estão corretos biblicamente. Arrependo-me perante os homens como eu já tenho diante de Deus. Eu não vou cair as minhas desculpas por engano. Eu não se preocupou em testar as coisas quando as escrituras nos mandou fazer isso. Todo mundo que estava lá quando tudo isso começou sabe que o que eu escrevo é verdade, eles teriam acabado de chegar a conclusões diferentes, especialmente se eles ainda estão a promover o “rio!”
Para aqueles no rio Eu diria que nadar para fora, existem coisas vivas na água que irá mordê-lo muito bom! Eu amo o povo do TACF eo movimento Vineyard, mas penso que temos muito a responder e que o Senhor abra seus olhos, mais cedo ou mais tarde. Eu suspeito que quando esta carta vai em linha vou buscar bombardeados por e-mails de ambos os campos, alguns me condenando por ainda crer no ministério do Espírito Santo e ainda andando no engano e alguns amigos antigos condenando-me por expor a sujeira ou ser negativo sobre o senhores ungido! Bem, o Senhor conhece meu coração e por sua graça que ele me guiará a toda a verdade como eu busco conhecer a Cristo e este crucificado! Se você acredita que eu ando em pecado e erro, por favor ore por mim que o Senhor iria me perdoar e abrir os olhos. Vou estudar a palavra para mostrar o meu homem um auto de trabalho aprovado! Eu apelo a todos os que lerem esta a rezar para que o Senhor abrisse os olhos de todos que estiveram envolvidos neste engano. Se líder ou seguidor, somos amados e que o Senhor é um Deus perdoador. Ele diz que se confessarmos os nossos pecados, ele é fiel e justo para nos perdoar os pecados e nos purificar de toda injustiça. Creio que somos como a igreja em Laodicéia, pensamos que somos ricos, prosperaram e não precisam de nada, não nos damos conta que és infeliz, miserável, pobre, cego e nu. Devemos tomar o conselho de Jesus e comprar ouro refinado no fogo (que é o seu sofrimento, e não um falso espírito!), Vestiduras brancas para vestir nossa nudez vergonhosa e salve para os nossos olhos para que possamos ver novamente. Jesus está nos chamando ao arrependimento e agradecer ao Senhor que ele é, pois nos levará a uma verdadeira restauração com o nosso Pai! Se Deus me perdoou e abriu os meus olhos, então ele pode fazer isso para todos aqueles que estão presos no engano também. Vou terminar com uma advertência de Paulo, ele diz que se você pensa que é firmes ter cuidado para não cair.

The Heresies of Enoch and proof that it appeared after the gospels!
The Book of Enoch is packed full of heresy. I’ve only included a few examples but theres more in there. I think though, that this is more than any reasonable believer should need in order to see that this book is occultic and it is blasphemous. For example:
We read in chapter 40 of the Book of Enoch…
1 And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude
2 beyond number and reckoning, who stood before the Lord of Spirits. And on the four sides of the Lord of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things.
3 And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before the Lord of glory.
4 The first voice blesses the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever.
5 And the second voice I heard blessing
6 the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon the Lord of Spirits. And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of the Lord of Spirits.
7 And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord
8 of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth. After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: ‘Who are these four presences which I have
9 seen and whose words I have heard and written down?’ And he said to me: ‘This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.’
10 And these are the four angels of the Lord of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.
The Bible never mentions an angel named Phanuel, let alone an angel who is set over the repentance of those who inherit eternal life. What blasphemy! That statement in itself contradicts everything the Word of God teaches.
We read in 1st Timothy 2:5 that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Mediator between God and men, not some angel named Phanuel… “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” Repentance is strictly between a man and Jesus Christ alone. Only Jesus died for our sins, and shed His blood to pay for them (1st Peter 1:18-19); therefore, we must be diligent to guard and defend against LIARS and imposters who would lead people to believe otherwise.
1st John 2:22 clearly indicts all Christ-deniers as LIARS, guilty before God. There is nothing,or no one that can take Jesus’ rightful place as Redeemer and Savior.That is for Christ and Christ alone!
John 14:6-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. He is our High Priest forever! Hebrews 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
The Holy Spirit itself is named as the Spirit of Christ-Romans 8:9-But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Our salvation rests in Jesus Christ,the Risen Savior of mankind and the only begotten Son of God and not some demon named Phanuel!
And what did Paul say about that?-
Galatians 1:6-9,I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
This singular passage alone is enough to solidify this book as doctrines of demons, heretical teachings and blasphemy against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Any reasonable Christian would see that they have no need at all for any book that would do such a thing. Gnostic literature always,always undermines the diety of Christ!
Here’s chapter 48:1-3…
1 And in that place I saw the fountain of righteousness Which was inexhaustible: And around it were many fountains of wisdom: And all the thirsty drank of them, And were filled with wisdom, And their dwellings were with the righteous and holy and elect. 2 And at that hour that Son of Man was named In the presence of the Lord of Spirits, And his name before the Head of Days. 3 Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, Before the stars of the heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of Spirits.
Was the Son of Man named? When was Jesus named in Heaven? This is an attack on the deity of Jesus. Jesus Himself claimed in Revelation 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Jesus is Eternal, without beginning or end. Head of Days? Lord of Spirits? These terms are NOT found in the Bible.
IF the Book of Enoch were valid, composing well over 100 chapters, there should be numerous New Testament references to it; but there aren’t. Although some people claim that the Bible quotes the Book of Enoch over 100 times, this is simply not true. Just as the Qur’an, the Book of Enoch borrows from the Word of God. In sharp contrast to the Book of Enoch, the New Testament often quotes the Book of Genesis.
I would also point out that this passage could have only been written after the coming of Christ, and the writing of the New Testament where this was obviously taken from.The Old Testament consistently uses son of man in reference to man,often as God speaking to a man. The Bible does not use son of man as a title for Christ,until Jesus Himself declares Himself such in the New Testament.
We read in the Book of Enoch, chapter 69:8-12…
8 …And the fourth was named Penemue: he taught the
9 children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom. And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to
10 eternity and until this day. For men were not created for such a purpose, to give confirmation
11 to their good faith with pen and ink. For men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them, but through this their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power
12 it is consuming me.
What … man’s wisdom came from a demon named Penemue? That’s crazy! Did ink and paper cause the fall of the human race? Whoa … ! It was Adam’s sin that brought sin into the world (Romans 5:12); not evil literature. Mankind is inherently evil of himself, prone to the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). The lost sin because they are sinners,born with a fallen nature,inherited directly from Adam!
Although demons definitely influence mankind to do evil, man was already fallen long before he began to pursue idolatry and witchcraft. Christ came and died not to save us from witchcraft, but from all sin. Also, notice in 69:6, that the Book of Enoch claims that a demon named Gadreel led Eve astray and introduced weaponry to mankind. How absurd. The Bible identifies the serpent which deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden as Satan (Ezekiel 28:13).
As a person progresses deeper into the Book of Enoch, they will eventually find the Books of Adam and Eve fascinating as well, and then they will be into New Age occultism without even realizing it. Don’t be fooled, the Book of Enoch is occult material,written by gnostics that will lead you into the senseless mysticism of pagan religion. Keep in mind the philosophies of the Gnostics laid the groundwork for what today is termed Luciferianism.
The book of Enoch consistently glorifies angels in the rightful place of Jesus, at best this is promoting angel worship which is nothing more than trafficking in demons..sorcery, which is why it is so highly utilized in the occult,with a whole realm of sorcery dedicated to it known as Enochian Magic. This should be more than enough right here to satisfy any questions on whether or not the book of Enoch is the inspired word of God, there are though numerous other contradictions and outright false teachings contained in this book.
