I remember my Word of Faith days years ago….
As I read thru these, I could ‘hear the voices’ of all the people in the audiences back then saying, “Amen!” and “Preach on, brother!” to all these ridiculous and yet awful comments. Back then it was me too! Ugh! It makes me want to repent all over again! Ha. I thank God He delivered me! (Especially the one about God having to “obey” what we ‘request’!) <–I remember feeling 'really bad (back then) about 'making' God do what I told Him to do'. I also vividly remember the feeling that I was 'using God's word' like it was some incantation. Agh!
The general rule of thumb in the Word of Faith camp is that IF it is found within the pages of the Bible, IT IS true. And that is a correct thought about God's word being true. However, Word of Faith also applies that to ANY teaching that is based on a scripture — no matter how twisted that teaching may be. (Not a whole lot of Berean-type searching going on there…). The teachers and preachers are looked upon as having some "special anointing" to which the rest of us are not privy…
I praise God that He opened my eyes to HIS truth.

It is interesting that even a brief study of the Word tells us that both the Kingdom of God and His will and plan of Salvation through Christ Jesus are “musterion” that is Mysteries that have to be ‘revealed’ to man. However, only Jesus is the great Revealer of these mysteries, and as He said to Simon Peter “Flesh and blood has not revealed it (that Jesus if the Christ Son of the Living God) but My Father which is in Heaven”. Salvation, the gift of God, can only be revealed by the Son of God (essence of Father on earth) and huge swathes of the purported Christian church today does not understand this, seeking to pervert the pure message, suggesting that eternal security in Christ Jesus can be taught through a manual or, say, 10 easy steps followed by a simple prayer.. Jesus knew the Father and “heard” from Him and the Word proves Him to be the only revealer of truth. My point is that false apostles and prophets have never in truth grasped this mystery, having heard instead from the father of lies. Hence millions are being deceived and the number grows. If Salvation was one of many take it or leave it philosophies, it would not matter, but we talk here of eternal limitless life in that place prepared for us by our Lord Jesus Christ – or permanent loss.

Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn & Creflo Dollar are all partners in fraud. They mince gospel truths and roll out fraud sermons to the congregation. The Christ is within ALL persons. Kenneth Copeland unfortunately, has abused his church by amassing money for himself. Look to the Son of Man. Do NOT waste valuable moments paying attention to these scam artists. These are the false prophets Jesus spoke of. A genuine apostle of Jesus does NOT fly luxury planes, amass personal fortunes & live in palatial homes. Because K. Copeland has a twisted greedy mind, he says that demons fly in passenger planes. It sure takes one demon to recognise another !
Mother Teresa was an outstanding example of an apostle of Jesus in our present times. Her entire life was for Him and her fellow men.

In her book, Life in the Spirit: Reflections, Meditations and Prayers, she says:
Our purpose is to take God and his love to the poorest of the poor, irrespective of their ethnic origin or the faith they profess. Our discernment of aid is not the belief but the necessity. We never try to convert those whom we receive to Christianity but in our work we bear witness to the love of God’s presence and if Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, or agnostics become for this better men—simply better—we will be satisfied. It matters to the individual what church he belongs to. If that individual thinks and believes that this is the only way to God for her or him, this is the way God comes into their life—his life. If he does not know any other way and if he has no doubt so that he does not need to search then this is his way to salvation.
When a Catholic priest asked if she attempted to convert people, she reportedly answered, “Yes, I convert. I convert you to be a better Hindu, or a better Muslim, or a better Protestant, or a better Catholic, or a better Parsee, or a better Sikh, or a better Buddhist. And after you have found God, it is for you to do what God wants you to do.’ ”
