Justin Peters was at the revival and in a wheelchair himself. Hear his account of the healings at this so-called revival, and about the people who were walking in the “sauce”.
Part One
Part Two
A man does just does not have enough faith to walk from his wheelchair. Justin also speaks about the importance of music at these gatherings and the key role it plays on the audience.
Justin who has cerebral palsy, praises God for His providence of removing him from the WOF movement, and thanks God for the gift of his disease which keeps him dependant on the Lord. What an amazing person…. this Justin Peters. Praise God for the burden he carries for the deceptions we are seeing today and for his courage to tell us about it.

Have you seen the “demo” on Justin’s site? It’s incredible… See:
http://www.justinpeters.org.
Here is what he wrote on Lakeland:

He was also interviewed on this topic on Ingrid Schuelter’s show, “Crosstalk.” Its archived at VCY America.
He spoke at my church, Grace Community Church and comes highly recommended by my pastor, Dr. John MacArthur, as well.
God bless you, Kim!

This is a very interesting and thought-provoking post. I have been hearing about the Lakeland revivals for a while now, and I have friends who are sold on the whole event…however, maybe because I am overly skeptical, I do not fully agree with everything going down in these revival meetings.
I am glad to see someone like Justin Peters, with an authoritative and experienced track record, who is willing to point out the flaws in this “movement.” I have noticed a lot of the things that Mr. Peters pointed out and I am happy to know I am not crazy in my opinion.

Interesting…unfortunately God cannot give what He does not have. God did not give the “gift of disease” to Justin, it is a curse. Jesus died to free him from the curse.
Do I have the answers why all aren’t healed? Absolutely not. But to say disease is a gift is in my opinoin clearly in opposition to the teaching of Scripture.
You may disagree which is fine, but someone with a disease probably is not the best person to comment on healings, revivals. The best ones to comment are those who are operating in the supernatural gifts of healings, miracles, etc. If you have been in those then you can rightly discern and identify the Spirit of God at work in others. Test the spirits to see if they are from God…remember only the Spirit of God will bring healing and only other spirits will bring infirmity and sickness and disease (as well as the effect of sin and sickness, etc of course).

My brother got healed of his back pain by touching the computer screen….It’s verified now. I’m not lying he has had bad pain for the past few years, had scoliosis surgery and has 2 rods in his back. Are the rods still there, yes. Is the pain gone, Yes. That is a verified healing. Just wanted you to know there was at least one.
Oh and another person I knew was healed of an irregular heartbeat….went to the dr the next day and the dr said the problem corrected itself the day before…there’ s another.

I believe you misunderstand Peters’ meaning. Do you really believe that all afflicted should be healed by Jesus? That would truly mean that no one would die eventually if you take this thought to its logical end.

Do you really believe that? Everything should be weighed against scripture. I do not have to put my hand in boiling water to know I’ll get scalded.
Yes, the spirits were tested at Lakeland and they failed. It’s antichrist.

Paul was never relieved of his afflication.
2Cr 12:7 ¶ And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2Cr 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
2Cr 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Cr 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong
What faith Justin has. I admire him very much.

Agree!
32 resurrection from the dead. Where are they and why have they not given glory to the Lord for such an awesome display of Gods power? Seems to me that if someone was dead and was raised to life, they ought to be shouting it from the roof tops. Lies and deception by those running the revival. False testamony, that is Anti-Christ.
Jon says, Test the spirits to see if they are from God…remember only the Spirit of God will bring healing and only other spirits will bring infirmity and sickness and disease (as well as the effect of sin and sickness, etc of course).
This is a lie Jon. The bible specifically tells us that there will be “false signs and wonders” in the end times. All these to occur in order to attempt to “deceive the elect”. These false signs will be healings, deliverence, raising the dead, etc., but they will be false, they will be from the Anti-Christ. If we are to believe the “Word” of God. Remember the scriptures are the “Word” (Jesus) and the “word” of God himself. He does not lie. Only the “Father of Lies” lies, so whoever told you what you just stated is not from a scripturally based truth.
