I was at a loss for words and Satan was discouraging me. Last night I prayed that the Lord would give me His words, for I had none. This is the dream I had last night.
I dreamt that I was in a crowd of people at some musical event that was worldly and evil. But there was a way out. I could see a pathway.
There were two pools of baptism. One path was leading to Jesus and the other was to a deceiver. I could see the way to Jesus. I could not see Him but I could see the water flowing from his hands onto the heads of those bowing down to him. There were many crowding around the pool of the deceiver. Written on the stone walls surrounding the deceiver there was scripture, but he was quoting the second part of John 10:10 “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The deceivers’ voice was sickly sweet and he bid the people to come to him. He was sitting in the pool and splashing the water in invitation.
I headed for Jesus. The path was easy to see but there were many barricades put there by the surrounding people. I walked right over them.
Then suddenly, I was walking against a tide of people who did not want to listen to the Word of Truth and were leaving in disinterest. I begged of them “Please turn around, you are going the wrong direction!”. Their faces looked blank and they ignored my pleas. BUT..a few stopped walking, a look of realization came upon their face, and Praise God, they turned around.
(End of dream)
Many churches are full of deceiving spirits. Sadly, these unholy spirits are invited by the metaphysical (beyond the seen world) new-age practices introduced by pastors and congregation alike. These new-age practices create an altered consciousness of emptiness that opens a doorway to the other world. This altered consciousness can be easily attained by one method. Meditation. I am not talking about the kind of meditation that involves deep thinking, I am talking about the kind that empties the mind of thought. I believe that the repetitive music being introduced today… the singing of single phrases over and over again, is a step to prepare congregations for the new-age breath-prayers and centering which is really….yep…meditation. If anyone, I mean anyone, whether it be a friend or leader in the church, suggests anything that closely resembles meditation. Flee.
I am grieving for our churches. The messages are watered-down to appeal to the unsaved. There is no preaching of repentance. There is no guidance for holy living. There is no Glory given to God. If a pastor preaches damnation, then the people start looking for a new pastor…one who will tell them they will be blessed with riches if only they ask and that Jesus came to this world to say, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Therefore, there are many unsaved people coming weekly to their church, to sing the songs, repeat the creeds, pray the prayers and leave their tithe to gain the promised prosperity of their giving. This is so sad that my heart aches for the Lord who gave his life for us and suffered so terribly on the cross.
If you are looking for a new way to seek God besides studying the Bible, I beg of you, please turn around, you are going the wrong direction, and turn only to Him.

Very interesting dream .
I was asking The Lord just last week ,what was really happening when believers take the word of God and wield it like witchcrafed power.
satan used the word against Christ in the wilderness to bring glory to himself. When we believe that we take Christs word and speak it to life like magic satan is again trying to bring glory to himself .
I am not denouncing God ‘s Holy scriptures .
I believe I am seeing great evil and deception .
I know God and Christ are real through mere experiences before ” professesd salvation ” and during the last eight years in the pentacostal circles.
I asked God to take any false teaching and mindsets that are not of Him out of my mind .I literally had a mental breakdown and the only thing that has stopped me going troppo over the past 6 months is that I know God is behind this.
look forward to your reply ..Cheers Lisa

Lisa,
Yes, you are seeing great evil and deception in these end times and i pray that the Lord will protect and hold you close to Him. To ask God to take any false teachings out of your mind is asking Him for discernment, and it seems He has already done this for you. We will talk!

Kim,
I feel blessed to find this post because I to have questioned some of the actions and decisions my church has been making in the last few years. I am more convinced now then ever that more are being deceived then none in the church. What better way to distract believers and those who seek God then to start in the churches. With that said, I have been reading and seeking out where God wants me to go as far as a place to worship. What are some things that I must look for in doing so? Or scriptures you might recommend in finding true disciples? I find as the years go on I might be standing alone or amongst few who truly worship my father. Also with that said, as a single woman I have pondered much on marriage and have met quite a few people who go from one marriage to the next in and out of church. I even had a close friend cut me off for showing her scriptures that say she is committing adultery being in a second marriage without biblical cause to end the first one. Am I going in the right direction with this or is my interpretation wrong in reading the scriptures? I desire with all of my heart to do God’s will but need to seek advice. I pray God will give me discernment and will help me find the truth. Thank you and much blessing! Carey from Denver

HI Carey,
It sounds as though the Lord has given you discernment as a gift. Indeed, Satan doesn’t worry alot about those who are already lost, but want to turn believers away from truth and living for Christ and is attacking the church.
It seems I have talked with hundreds looking for a good church. You will not find a perfect one for we are all sinners even though saved through belief in Christ.
Here is a basic article about looking for a church. I like this site and refer to it often.
http://www.gotquestions.org/find-local-church.html
Hopefully the sermon will be about scripture and not a lot of fluffy, feel good stories, self-help, or pop psychology. Quotes from the newer emergent writers are also a red flag. Once a pastor mentioned Brennan Manning an author I knew to be a catholic mystic. Went to the pastor with a warning. Have to remember that they are unindated with materials from various sources and often don’t have time to research them. So we must be aware.
I have to agree with you about the marriage issue. The church looks just like the world in this aspect. God hates divorce. (Malachi 2:16).
There are only two reasons given in scripture that allow for it. That is adultery, and if your unbelieving partner leaves or abandons you. Still patience and prayer must be used to try to reconcile the situation.
You said…
“I even had a close friend cut me off for showing her scriptures that say she is committing adultery being in a second marriage without biblical cause to end the first one.”
The information you shared is correct. Some will reject you or cut you off because of this. Please remember that it is not you they are rejecting but the truth of Gods Word. Love them anyway and pray for them. While God hates divorce it is still a forgiveable sin.
The same site about has alot of information about divorce and remarriage.
Usually true disciples will separate themselves from the world and not love it.[1 John] They remain in Christ the vine and are branches and will be hated. [John 15] They are born again [John 3] lives by the truth and loves the light. In John 14 it says three times. “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teachings.”
There are alot more but I love John and 1 2 3 John to see if I am walking by faith.
Blessing to you…
